Riding Develops Abilities

RDA Ryde’s purpose is to provide horse riding for people wth disabilities to benefit their health and well-being. Without our Committee Members’ dedication and support, we could not do this.

Our Committee ensures we achieve our purpose by:
* offering client-centred programs
* supporting our Coaches who are responsible for each therapy program
* recruiting, training & organising volunteers
* ensuring humane equine welfare
* collaborating effectively with community partners
* organising long term sustainable finances and good governance.

Ryde Centre is run entirely by volunteers. From gardeners and cleaners, to sidewalkers, leaders and assisters in classes, the roles required to operate and maintain our wonderful Centre are many and varied.

We are very fortunate to be led in these roles by such committed and generous Committee Members who lead by example and uphold the values of RDA (NSW).

At RDA, we strive to build productive relationships and make a positive impact.

Seeing our community come together in the pursuit of seeing a participants life change, even in the smallest ways, could bring no greater pleasure. The smiles on the faces of our riders, parents, carers, and volunteers, and knowing that we are part of a community that is helping, is the best gift of all.
